WOW
Where has my life gone? I don't think I have made a card or a scrapbook page since Last January? What have I done with my life? I can't imagine this. I guess being a mom, student teaching, and having a full time job kind of limits time for fun. :( Oh well, some day I will be back on the stamping Wagon.
Have you checked out my favorite store recently? I have even if I haven't used anything for awhile. check it out sometime here is a link. www.scrapbookstoreatyourdoor.com. It is a wonderful little store.
Have a great day!

Blog Hop
I designed this card using my Sassy Stems and Measure of Life stamp. The ribbon came from Walmart, I bought it on a whim the other day because it reminded me of my Granny. I had no idea what I would do with it, but then when I was looking through my card folio, I saw the name of this stamp set and thought they would fit perfectly. This blog post is suppose to feature an "oldie but goodie" Stamp. I used both of these stamps that I have not used in over six months. The first on Sassy Stems the last time I used it was in Oct. of 2008. The Measure of life stamp set was last used in well I don't know that I have ever used it.

Not a stamping project but I like it anyway....
I started these redwork quilt blocks a long long time ago and finished them not long after Sami was born. Mom said if I would do the redwork, she would quilt them. So I did the redwork and they have been waiting patiently for inspiration to strike her. Well it struck her the other day and she pulled them out. She had designed a pattern to make them into. She needed one more than we have here though so.....
On the 31st of Dec. we designed this one and I completed it with a little "help" from my daughter. She thinks I am so talented. LOL
On Jan 1st. I completed the boarder of this quilt that i started a few years ago. I bought the material and the pattern at a shop hop mom and I go to every year. I guess it was two years ago. I completed the quilt top and mom did the quilting on her machine. I then completed the outside border on the quilt yesterday. Let me tell you that was a Challenge.

I can't believe this.
I actually have a design in my head for next years christmas card.... If only I had a block the right size to complete it.....
Just Believe, music notes
I saw a card almost like this one on split coast a few minutes ago. I really liked it so I made it like this.... Her version is at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1869319?&cat=19788. I hope you enjoy the card.
