My challenge for the year is to use every stamp set I have at least once. At last count I have 189 stamp sets. I am buying them continually too. In fact, I have at least 9 on order now. Jeni has a few I just can't seem to get to them yet with all the flooding in the area right now. Anyway back to my challenge for myself. I looked on the blog today and realized that I have used only 49 of my stamp sets. I have a very long way to go. I am sure that at one point or another I have used more of the stamp sets but I can't prove it so they don't count. I have a lot of cards to make in the next 9 months.

I copied this card from the Stampin up "05" mini. I changed a few things such as colors. The Tag was cut out with my cricut. I used night of Navy for the paper tag. I believe I used bordering Blue for the square. I usses so Saffron for the dragon fly. I used apricot ribbon a brad from my collection of brads and a eyelet from my eyelet collection the wheel is Scatter sunshine. The ink on the wheel and sentement is night of navy. (I really like that color) and the ink on the dragon fly is Chocolate Chip. I really like chocolate chip too.
Funny thing about this card, I said to my mom, I really think I need a different background for this card, when the phone rang and it was my ex saying I needed to come pick up our daughter. I said ok and piled them on the cabinet. When I got home she got all excited and jumped up to look at the cards. I showed her the true friends cards first then I showed her this one. When I picked the true friends card off of this one she said, "wow mommy that one is beautiful." I guess I have her trained on what to say too well. :)
I used the True Friend stamp set to make this card. I also used shimmery white, pale plum, and perfect plm for paper. I used cameo coral and old olive for the pink flower. I used summer sun and garden green for the yellow flower. I stamped the sentiment in perfect plum. I used a blue rhinestone brad from SU for the center of the flower.

This is the real reason I convinced myself to get into stamping. I figured I could scrapbook with the stamps and save lots and lots of money on stickers. So far it has not turned out quite like I planned it. This is the only page I have stamped in my scrapbook. I own 180 stamp sets. I think I am a little behind. :) This stamp is one from the just basketball set.
