I wanted this stamp set a long long time before I actually bought it. I don't know if I really will ever give a sympathy card, maybe I will. I really like the saying in this stamp set, " your loved one will always be as close as a memory, and the God of all comfort as close as a prayer". I used the rich regals family for this card. I know the blue is night of navy, and the other color is bordering blue. I used apricot for the ribbon. The dragonfly is just one I bought off of ebay. I also used crystal effects, in the middle of the flowers.
This card was made from the bold brights family, except for the words, I used chocolate chip on them. I used two stamps that I have never used before in this one. Big blossoms and full of life. The flower is lovely lilac, the card stock is glorious green and green galore.
The plywood is finally moved. Thanks Dad. I told him that was what I wanted for mother's day and that is all I got. :) Anyway. I made 4 cards today, packed up the stuff to mail my PIF. And filled in the nail holes around my doors and windows in the stamp room and my new bedroom. As soon as we can figure out why it is leaking and lay the carpet we can get it all done. If I recall right, the goal this year is to use stamp sets I have not used before, so for my first two cards today, I used two old standby's, wings and things and all year cheer II. All of the stamps and the card stock are from Stampin up's soft subtles line, except for the chocolate chip stamp of the butterfly and the words.

I won a pay it forward a few weeks ago. I was wondering when

I was going to get the stuff. Yesterday, my mom says did you get that box that came in the mail for you the other day? I said no what box? She said, I don't know it came the day your Uncle was here. I said no I haven't gotten anything for awhile. So after much digging, we found the box. In it was my PIF gift. I love it. It is so amazing! Not only is the gift a great gift, but I love the card also. Thank you http://blog.michellescrapbooking.com/ I realized belatedly that I should have kept your address to send you a thank you card. I am so sorry it took such a long time to thank you, but I truly do love it. It will match my new stamp room perfectly.
