Feb. Card swap

possibly my favorite card for the card swap.

This is pink card goes with the pop up card that is further down the line. I can't get them together for some reason.

The inside of this card says, "get lots of rest drink fluids eat cereal!"

The inside of the pop up card.

My mom already stole my chocolate out of this one :) I knew she would when I picked the dark chocolate to go inside of it.

I totally missed making this card. I thought it was adorable too. Oh well.
I think the inside said, "it was the worst ten minutes of my life" or something like that.

I found a web site that I adore...

http://www.skiptomylou.org/

It has so many cute things on it. For stamping, for sewing for chrochetting. It has some really cute stuff on it. Now I am off to make 20 valentines day cards for Sami's library school party Wed. Wish I could go with her. Oh well.

Monday Challenge?

My friend on face book gave us a monday challenge to make a card using chocolate chip. I didn't make a card. Although, I love chocolate chip and using it to make cards, I made a notebook. The picture is of my daughter. It was taken on or about Jan 13. I used chocolate chip for the book cover, I believe pumpkin pie for the accents. I also used Doodle that for the background stamp. I used Versa mark to stamp it with. The pen holder is made from elastic I found in my mom's sewing room. SHHHHHH don't tell. :) Hope you enjoy. I also made a 50th ann. card yesterday out of blues and gold. It didn't get it's picture taken though before it got used. I will have to try to duplicate it.

This is the final product of most of the cards. Aren't they beautiful?
Just some serious card makin fun going on here.

Oh and this is me. I was making the card Julie brought to the crop.

I think I wrote in my last blog that Sat Julie took me to a shoe box scrap. I had so much fun. Since I wasn't sure how it really went I borrowed some pictures from one of the ladies that took pictures there. This is her blog here. http://www.sherastamps.blogspot.com/ Thanks for sharing.

Julie

I have reconnected with an old friend. Actually, I can't say old, because neither one of us are very old. I think I shall call her a Golden friend. I am so excited about having this friend back in my life. What makes it even more fun is the fact that we both stamp and scrapbook. What makes it even more fun (I can hear you saying what could be more fun than a friend that stamps?) is she owns her own scrapbooking store. I know I am going to be in soooooo much trouble. :) I can't wait to get some "extra" money to spend on her stuff. I have a wish list started and I am afraid it is going to keep growing, as her store grows.
I predict that Julie will be able to pull me out of my stay in my own little world rut. She convinced me to go to a card swap Sat. One of these days I will post some pictures. I am so excited. I just couldn't help myself by writing an actual blog that wasn't just a picture of a card. If you want to check this wonderful lady's store out, it is on my sidebar and the link is also here.

I hope that every one in the world gets to have one friend like her.
Sweet dreams,

I should not have left the brilliant blu

I should not have left the brilliant blue stamp pad out.

It was only a matter of time......

Delight in life, sage advice are probably my two favorite stamps. It seems that every time I sit down to stamp I use one of them for something or another. It was inevitable that i pulled the two of them together sooner or later.... I used regal rose for the ink. I used the new incolor blue. The yellow i am unsure of which one it is. and the white is shimmery white. I stamped the flowers first with the regal rose then I stamped the outline with versa mark and used bridal heat embossing on it. It looks better in real life than in the photo.
Just basketball

my thank you card.

This is just basketball Full of life

Sami's thank you card...

She is only 4... This is crayon kids, all wrapped up and all wrapped up accessories

Sami's birthday countdown

This is the rough draft. I used shimmer white. and Chocolate chip. (was that surprising?) The stamps are Calendar and Stampin wheel Cupcakes. The pin was one of those new Sharpie pens that are so cool.
This is the final copy. Every thing is the same as above. except the paper it is regal rose I think.
